Authors from low- and lower-middle-income countries, particularly those listed under the Research4Life initiative, may be eligible for full or partial waivers of Article Processing Charges (APCs).
Discount requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the following conditions:

• The manuscript must demonstrate originality, address a current and relevant topic, and show potential to contribute significantly to advancing global knowledge.
• Approval of a discount does not influence the editorial or peer review process.
