International Journal of Environment, Engineering, and Education (Int. J. Environ. Eng. Educ.) aims to publish high-quality research articles that have an impact on human life. These articles expected to contribute to science, especially the science of the environment, engineering, and scientific education with a strong scientific basis and which mutually integrated into scientific fields.
To ensure this, we use a double-blind review, which means that the identities of reviewers and authors hide each other during the review process and make it easier for reviewers to focus on the text without being affected by preconceived ideas and the author or institution.
More specifically, our editorial process is as follows:
Manuscript Submission – The author submits the manuscript following the journal's writing guidelines.
Initial Screening and Selection – The journal manager and editors review the manuscript's suitability for the journal's scope and adherence to writing guidelines. They check plagiarism levels using Turnitin. Editors can accept, reject, or send the manuscript for further review.
Peer Review Process – Reviewers evaluate the selected manuscript based on academic quality, methodology, scientific contribution, and clarity. The review process follows the journal’s policy (double-blind review).
Editorial Decision – The editor informs the author of the review outcome: (1) accepted without revision, (2) accepted with minor revisions, (3) accepted with major revisions, or (4) rejected. The author must revise the manuscript according to the reviewers' feedback if revisions are required.
Manuscript Revision – The author revised the manuscript based on the reviewers' suggestions and resubmitted it with a revision report detailing the changes made.
Revision Evaluation – The reviewers re-evaluate the revised manuscript. If the revisions meet expectations, they recommend acceptance. The manuscript may be sent back for additional revisions or rejected if further improvements are needed.
Final Acceptance – After the revisions satisfy the reviewers' concerns, the editor confirms the manuscript's acceptance for publication.
Galley Proof and Publication Process – The accepted manuscript enters the galley proof stage, where the author reviews the final version before publication. After approval, the journal publishes the manuscript in the assigned issue.
